Buying Tips

Getting the Right Price

If you plan on reselling a card we suggest that you pay around 70%-80% of the card's value. Look at the example picture to see what a fair offer on a popular card is.

This card is worth $120 so a fair offer would be $95 because thats about 80% of the value.

Condition

When buying a un-graded card, also known as raw. We suggest that you always check the condition because it can change the value of the card. As you can see in the example photo, the same card sold for almost 40% less due to its condition.

Card Grade

A card grade is the number that a card recives on a scale of 1-10. Graded cards are put in plastic cases known as slabs. Diffrent grading companies can change the value of a card.

Even though these are the same cards, both in grade 10 condition. The PSA 10 sells for more than the SGC 10 by $40. This is due to PSA's status in cards.

Buying multiple cards at Once

Buying multiple cards at once is a great way to get a lower price for each card. Usually sellers are willing to lower their prices on some cards if you are willing to buy a few at once.

Trading

When you trade cards we suggest that you trade cards that are worth about what the cards you are trading for are worth. If you need to add cash onto a trade we suggest you add 80% of the value needed. For example if you want to trade $100 worth of cards for $200 worth of cards, you are missing $100 in value. If you plan on paying in cash for this missing value we suggest you pay $80 because that's 80%.
