Selling Tips
Making a Deal
When making a deal we reccomend you stay organized. This means knowing how much money you spent on each card, and how much money each card is worth. Taking pictures of each deal with the money or cards up for trade is a great way to keep track of your inventory.
Social Media
Promoting your sales on apps like Instagram and Facebook can help you gain popularity in the card community. Social media can also help you get connections to other buyers and sellers around the state.
Negotiating
Always make sure that you get the most out of each of your cards. If you want $220 and a buyer offers $180, maybe counter offer and meet them in the middle at $200. Negotiating is a fun way for the buyer and seller to agree on a fair price.
Pricing
Make sure that the card is either labled with the price on the front or back, or make sure you know the price off the top of your head. If you label the card try not to cover any of it (See example Jamarr slab).
Price is clear and easy to see. The price also doesnt block the card or slab information.
Organizing
Organizing your cards in your case by team, player, position, or year can help buyers find what they're looking for. Notice how all of the Tom Brady cards in the example picture are together.
Comps
Comps are what the card is selling for online. You can find the comps of a card by checking websites like eBay or 130 Point. The best way to get a value on a card is to take the average of the last 3 sales on eBay.
The average price of the last three sales of this card is $425, so that is a fair value for the card.
